You can not beat how easy, healthy & delicious these chocolatey date bars are. They are the perfect snack treat for you and your kids.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups pitted dates
- 1/2 natural creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup oats
- 2 tbs cocoa powder
METHOD
- If your dates are dry (not sticky & moist) soak in warm water for 10 minutes and then drain.

Add all the ingredients into a food processor and mix until the mixture is smooth and dough-like.

Spread the mix into a small square tin or plastic tray lined with grease-proof paper. Press the mix firmly with your hands. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Remove the bars from the tray and cut into pieces.

Enjoy these bars cold or frozen.

Store in an air-tight container in the fridge or freezer.
